Purfresh industrial ozone generators combine the best available corona discharge technology with patented thermoelectric cooling, microcomputer control and remote monitoring. The generator includes oil-free, dry air preparation, ozone generating cells, power supplies and an on-board microcomputer. The microcomputer precisely controls all generator functions and can direct the supply of ozone to a single process or to multiple outputs for independently controlled separate processes. Service is accomplished by replacement of standardized plug-in modules. All components are safely housed in a NEMA 3R weather tight cabinet. Combining the generator with Purfresh contacting, monitoring and control products provides single source, cost-effective ozone treatment solutions.
The corona discharge micro gap cell utilizes a ceramic dielectric with multi-stage production. The cell is cooled by a patented thermoelectric cooling system. Each cell operates with its own power supply.
The high frequency, high efficiency power supply minimizes nitrogen by-products and optimizes power consumption. Each power supply is controlled by the microcomputer so that power is modulated to the ozone cells to ensure that ozone output continuously tracks system demand.
The generator includes a microcomputer that continuously monitors system parameters and controls the output of ozone to setpoint levels on up to four process control loops. It includes nonvolatile memory for setpoints, run times, configuration diagnostics and a real time clock. An integrated modem allows generator parameters to be remotely monitored and controlled by the user, as well as providing direct access for Purfresh technical support.
